It’s a great system without a doubt. I see a few people complaining about random issues here, but you guys have to understand: it’s essential to have a good installation made by a skilled professional, otherwise, the system won’t work as it should.

What a great user interface! I seriously have no idea why anyone would choose a different company for their automation!

Upgraded our Savant system to 7.0 just to try this out, scene creation and capture are great. One or two crashes so far under heavy use, hope updates come soon.

This app and the Savant system made me enjoy my house so much more. Its easy to use. Ive set scenes to stream my favorite music, and set lighting the way I want, all with just one bottom push. Savant is a GREAT investment.

Everything in my house is controlled within this app! The ability to create scenes is a breeze.

This is the coolest APP that I have ever used. Kudos to Savant for giving customers the ability to personalize their own APP. Definitely a Homer run.

I have to say that this new APP is a game changer. It is by far the coolest automation APP that I have ever used. Finally, us customers have the ability to personalize our APP and create our own scenes and schedules. Savant definitely hit a Grand Slam with this.

One of the very few apps I use every day. Its now as critical as Mail, Phone, and Safari. Kudos!

I integrate savant systems and it truly is a one app system. All our clients love the customizing and ability to create scenes for their lifestyle. Also the capabilities are awesome. Systems can be just over 1K or up to 100k or more depending on your needs. They sell hardware that fits every budget. The apps Channel up and Channel down control doesnt work properly. Also, when in the volume control area, the rewind option doesnt work. We have Directv. Please fix these and it will be much better. Thanks.

This App works really well with my Savant System!!

Regarding the first review about crashing; I have experienced no crashes since November. The app crashing is not changing your HVAC setpoints. You have some other problems. Call your Savant dealer. For the Honeywell/Vista Secrity interface we need labels as follows on the numeric buttons as they provide dual functions: 1 OFF 2 AWAY 3 STAY Other than that the app is fantastic. Keep up the good work.

Love the app so far....but, PLEASE adjust the Satellite TV controls! Its not very ergonomic as is. First of all, this major issue there is that when you pull up the guide, you cannot scroll down channel by channel! The huge arrow buttons are wonderful, a major upgrade from the old Savant app, but when I try to use them to go down or up to the next channel, the guide closes and it goes to the highlighted channel. The page to page buttons at the bottom seem to work fine (they are in kind-of in an odd position and small), but when your get to the guide page you want, you cannot tab from channel to channel with the arrows. Those wonderful big buttons are useless right now! Also, when you go to the number pad page on the app, the numbers definitely need to be the first thing you see. The handle to scroll down is in a very awkward position and doesnt always work on the first try. I hate having to pull the number pad up to direct-input a channel. The keys above the number buttons are not used nearly as often as the number buttons. These two basic items would greatly improve the ergonomics and functionality, and then be a definite 5-star app.

App works very well. Obviously its not that we have a choice of apps as Savant users so this app and its reviews serves as a review of the whole system since without it the system would be very limited. Given that, this app needs some refinements to make it very user friendly and powerful. 1- the playlists and queue are not intuitive- adding to queue should be simpler and looking and editing queue more accessible. 2- alarm integration- number keypad needs to have the words that correspond to the actions below the numbers just like the real physical keypad- or at least separate buttons for Away, Armed, etc... 3. Would be nice to get back to the home screen with one touch- sometimes you have to hit the back button many times to get to room overview or scenes, etc App is solid and it works which is a great thing!

People need to understand one major thing about this app. -The performance of the app depends solely upon the competency and skill level of the savant systems programmer you hired to set up your house. There are a lot of "hackey" , "trunk-slammer" install companies out there and if your system doesnt have a solid foundation, then the app will only magnify this. Also it stands to be said that this is not an app designed to be a fully customizable solution. Its not Crestron, and thats a good thing. Do your homework before blindly giving something a scathing review. This app is solid, and it only gets better with updates. Also the iPad mini (non-retina) is just not capable of running this app with its weaker than iPhone 5c processor.

The iPhone and iPad app is just okay. It is limited in how many cameras you can connect. I have to determine which ones I want to see. I really REALLY wish that this could be on the Mac computer. There is no good way presently to see video on this platform. A market that needs to be filled. Only a PC platform and who the heck wants to use a PC these days!
